The Long-Tail Keyword Tool

It’s hard to imagine a world without Google. It’s hard to imagine a website succeeding without getting traffic from Google.

I can’t tell you how many times during the sales process of an SEO consultation I have been asked this question, “How long is it going to take me to start seeing noticeable ranking increases if I invest in SEO?”

For years I’ve found that to be the most difficult question to answer. Truthfully, it really varies by niche, right? For example, it’s going to be a lot quicker, easier, and less expensive to rank a lawyer in Birmingham, Alabama, than a lawyer in Los Angeles, California.

There are literally thousands of variables at play.

Until Now …

That’s why I wanted to reach out to you today about a proprietary tool that we have developed, and that we offer many of our clients and agency partners that basically allows you to target hundreds of long-tail keyword rankings within about three months’ time.

Let’s put it this way: Short-tail rankings are really awesome, but those kind of rankings typically take some time to build up to, not that you should be ignoring them, but you should also be giving love to your long-tail keyword ranking strategy. For our agency partners using our tool, they are installing our tool on their website, and they’re able to come to us and say, “Hey Carlton, I have a law firm client in say, Atlanta, Georgia. They are a personal injury lawyer. They also focus on car accidents, and we want to begin targeting dozens of long-tail keywords that are related to that target market for this lawyer.” Keywords such as, “best car accident attorney in Dallas, Texas” or “car accident lawyer in Dallas,” would be these sorts of long-tail keywords. There are so many other variations that we can come up with to meet a quota of 1,000 keywords for you.

When clients and partners install our tool to their website, they begin to see results within the first week and a half. We have a white-labeled reporting tool where you can go in and put the domain that’s using our tool as well as your name and the number of keywords that you want to check out. That tool is going to show you every single keyword that’s being tracked using our tool. It updates every 24 hours through a cert-book API, so that the information is always aggregated correctly and accurately.

Let’s take this a little bit further. Let’s say that you are an HVAC company that wants to use this plug-in and target thousands of long-tail keywords. We can basically group keywords into different sections of your niche. An HVAC contractor is going to have keywords that are related to heating and keywords that are related to cooling. Any keyword that relates to cooling is going to go to a particular landing page and every keyword that relates to heating is going to go to a heating related keyword, or excuse me, a heating related landing page, so that we can segment what pages are being used for what keywords.

This also works very well on multi location businesses and multi location SEO. If you want to target HVAC keywords in Dallas, Texas, and Austin, Texas and Denver, Colorado, and Manhattan, New York, you can do so with this tool. It literally begins working in a month’s time.

Now you might be asking, “How is this a white hat approach to SEO?”

There are many different variations of mass page builders out in the market. One of the biggest flaws that these have, and the reason why they don’t work well is because they’re using spun content to basically rank for long-tail keywords, and we’re not doing that. We are creating landing pages in a mass strategy, but every single page has unique content that’s relevant to your niche. As you can see that right here on the screen, I’m showing you right here in the source code. The the content itself does not actually appear on the page itself. It’s actually an iFrame that’s crawled by Google, so that Google can see it when it’s crawling on the client’s website. But when visitors come to the client’s website through their long-tail keyword rankings, they’re able to focus on the calls to action, the phone number to call, and so on instead of worrying about a big piece of content.

If you go through each and every single one of these landing pages hosted on this website, the content is actually different on every single page, which is why we can get these pages indexed so quickly, but they also stay indexed. We never have an issue with them being dropped off because of duplicate content. Every time that a page is refreshed so many times, the content is actually pulled off of the page and then a new piece is replaced with it to simulate a page update, which Google absolutely loves and it highly increases the amount of time that a page is indexed overall.

The very last thing that I’ll mention is what happens if you cancel this subscription service. Basically what happens is that instead of just losing all your rankings at once, they do begin to go downhill because they are no longer managed. But instead of those keywords going to a landing page, they are all redirected to the homepage of the client. The reason we do this is because we don’t want to be responsible for hundreds or thousands of 404 errors in webmaster tools. This is our way to combat that issue.
